Anna Dumitriu and Alex May: Recent Works at Texas A&M

Alex May took part in Anna Dumitriu and Alex May: Recent Works at the Wright Gallery at Texas A&M College of Architecture in College Station from 5 to 8 March 2018. The exhibition brought together recent work by both artists in a context that foregrounded art-science practice, including May’s moving-image and computational work alongside a public programme of talks and workshops.

For May, the Texas presentation extended beyond the gallery itself. The visit included a Health Sciences lecture with Dumitriu on 7 March and a Painting With Light video-mapping workshop earlier the same day, giving audiences access both to finished artworks and to the technical processes behind them.
